Hotel Riu Funana, Santa Maria

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While there were a few issues with pests in the room that required moving, the overall atmosphere was quite pleasant, and the staff were dedicated to keeping the guests happy. The dining options were plentiful but could use some improvement in the quality of the beverages. The location is decent, allowing access to beautiful beaches, but the noise levels in the room blocks were a real drawback. Overall, not bad, but could definitely use some improvements.

This hotel has a lot of potential but is let down by overcrowding and the smoking situation. While the rooms are clean and spacious, the food and pools were highlights for me. However, the experience was marred by the oversaturation of guests, especially around the pool area. Staff were hard-working, but the overwhelming presence of smokers made it a less enjoyable holiday.

I had an absolutely fantastic holiday! The hotel was clean and offered a great selection of food, especially for a vegetarian like me. The staff went above and beyond, and the beach was beautiful. The only downside was the lack of dumbbells in the gym, but that didn't ruin our experience at all.
